Release Notes – 2.7.2024
Following are the release notes for additions, changes and fixes made to our software application releasing between January 24th, 2024 and February 7th, 2024. NEW FEATURES
Photo Notifications will now deliver from within the EnMotive application
We have migrated our photo notification emails to be delivered from within the software application. The notifications will still deliver at the same cadences, immediately on first photo and then hourly on subsequent photos. No notifcatons will be sent 96 hours after the event, even if photos are uploaded or tagged after that,. With the migration over, this now allows for full customization of the photo notification email campaign, previews as well as full metrics on the emails including sends, opens and clicks. This email can be customized within the Email Campaigns tool and look for the campaign of “Photos Tagged”.
Daily Registration Count is now available as an event level report
In addition to the metrics widget for daily registration count, we now have an event level classic report labeled “Registration Count by Day”. This report will deliver a column for calendar date, cumulative total, daily total, then a daily count by category. It will begin with the first date of the first registration, and include all dates through the event end date.
Enhanced user experience for long running reports
We have added to all reports in the application a new user experience that allows an email notification to be sent for a long running report. If a report is expected to, or does take longer than 15 seconds, a modal window will be presented which will ask the admin to “wait to complete” or “email when ready”. If email is the chosen option, the admin will receive an email with a link to the file download when the file has been generated.
FEATURE CHANGES & UPDATES
Volunteer confirmation emails will now respect event theme; adds apple wallet as option
Volunteer confirmation emails were updated to respect the event theme settings as well as provide an option to add to Apple Wallet, if check-in is enabled. This update matches the previous features that the participant and ticket confirmation emails already had.
Accounting dashboard adds an additional filter for “Event Name”
Event Name has been added as an additional filter for the account dashboard, which provides financial data on a daily basis. This supports existing filters of Date, Event Type, Event Series, Payee and Statement ID.
Deferrals and Transfers can now be configured in the event, regardless of event status
Updated the admin configuration of deferrals and transfers to now allow categories of all statuses, to be able to be setup. Previously only categories in Open or Private status were abeteo be configured. This allows pre-setup and configuration for categories that maybe opened later.
Registration Notification email now includes a count of category and event total
The registration notification email that can be configured to send to email address(es) of the admins choice, now will include a count of the category total of the registration and total registrations of the event. This includes counts for participant + tickets. This email is sent every time there is a completed registration with details on that registration.
Daily Summary Report now includes additional parameters to be configured
The Daily Summary Report, which includes a report of financial data grouped at the day level, has been optimized to be able to filter the report by Event Type, Event Series, Event Name, Event Payee and Statement ID, in addition to the existing Date fields.
Transactional Emails have been updated to respect event theme colors and will now include a social media footer
All event transactional emails have been optimized to use the event primary color for colored text and buttons and will also include all available Social Media Links in the footer of the emails.
Admin Manual entry for volunteer registrations will now show categories in a “Private” status
During manual admin registration, categories that have a “private” status have now been exposed to be selected.
BUG FIXES
Coupons Dashboard was not showing all events in the Event filter
Resolved an issue where the Events list on the available filters are not showing the current Event List in the tenant coupons dashboard
Order confirmation page was showing “Note from the Event Organizer” title, even if promo content not sent
Resolve the issue where we display ‘Note from the Event Organizer’ section in the ‘orders/view’ page even though there is no content set
Users unable to change question response if they were in a category with a status of “Bundle Only”
Resolved an issue where a user was unable to save “bundle only” status category question changes
Resolved where dynamic pricing for membership was not always displaying
Bug fix related to USAT membership and passing through `race_type` and `distance_type`parameters
