Written by Kyle

Following are the release notes for additions, changes and fixes made to our software application releasing between May 29th, 2024 and June 12th, 2024. Release notes are delivered every other Friday. If you have any additional questions, comments or concerns, please send an email to support@enmotive.com.

NEW FEATURES

Heat Map is able to be viewed across all events within a tenant

We have added our first tenant level metric, with the introduction of the heat map. This is the same heat map widget available at an event level. This tenant level metric feature will allow data to be viewed across the tenant and includes filters for event year, event series, event type, event name registration date, registrant sex and registrant age. We will be adding additional widgets to the tenant level metrics in the coming weeks.

Registrants are now able to mark themself as “private”

We have added a checkbox field that is available per registration called “Private”. If this box is checked, then we will obscure all registrant data that is made public such in the locations of Results, Finisher Certificates, Fundraising Pages, Registration Confirmation Lookup and Registration View. This will appear as “Anonymous Registrant” for the name and the fields of sex, age, location will be set with “dashes”. If photos are enabled for the event, the photo and video features will be hidden for that registration. This can be set by the user on their registration view, an admin on the admin registration view or an admin via a registration import. This field is also available in registration list reports.

New API endpoint added of GET /events/id/registrations/id

This endpoint was added as we look to convert the existing “registrants” endpoints into new endpoints of “registrations” which not only matches the nomenclature used through the application, but provides more fields, support and parameters to be used by consumers of the API. A full field list is available by request.

FEATURE CHANGES & UPDATES

Bundle name can now be selected as a field on bib labels

We have added support for the field “Bundle Name” of a registration to be printed on bib labels. This will be able to be printed with the word “Bundle” in front of the Bundle Name or just as the Bundle Name.

Private field added to all API registrant endpoints

Added a field of “private” that will display as an integer with values of 1 or 0. This as been added to the root. If this is 1, the intention is that the registrant has requested for personal information not to be made available to the public. This was added to:

  • GET /events/id/registrants
  • GET /events/id/registrants/id
  • GET /events/id/registrations

Modifications made to the GET /events/id/registrations endpoint

The following modifications were made to this endpoint:

  • Modified “products.option” to “products.option_name”
  • Modified “products.quantity” to “products.option_qty”
  • Modified the field of “corral” to become an object
  • Added to the “corral” object “corral.id”
  • Added to the “corral” object “corral.name”
  • Added to the “corral” object “corral.wave”
  • Added to the “products” object array “products.option_nickname”
  • Added to the “products” object array “products.product_option_id”

Resolve membership registrations being able to self-cancel memberships when not allowed

Resolved an issue where users were able to cancel their membership, though admins did not allow. This was due to out “Allow Self Cancellation” setting displaying to members, even if disabled. The fix will make sure this setting properly displays to members following the current logic, if the category fee was $0.00 AND the setting is enabled. Members were thinking this would cancel their membership at the end of the current term, even if they did not have auto-renewal enabled, which would then trigger them to not receive any renewal notifications. We will look to add a future setting to support that.
