Release Notes – 4.17.2024
Following are the release notes for additions, changes and fixes made to our software application releasing between April 3rd, 2024 and April 17th, 2024. NEW FEATURES
Event Share Page now available for all events
We have recently added a new feature which is an Event Share Page that will build a link tree that provides easy access to copy links or share natively on device applications for Event Website, Registration Link, Fundraising Link and Volunteer Link. This was created to combat not being able to use the WebShare functionality in HTML emails. Now all email footers will by default have a “Share” option which will link to this page for easy sharing on their mobile devices.
Volunteer Job Admins can now contact team members via email
Added the ability for a job admin to be able to email all complete volunteer registrations for their job using our built-in email contact tool that is available to Team Captains. This features a list of volunteers, the time last contacted and an option to generate a message with subject line to be sent. This feature is located with a button on the page with a list of volunteers for the job found at /admin/events/registrants/{event.id}/category:{category.id}/type:volunteer. This provides access as a contact point without having to provide full email campaign access to job admins who only have permissions for a job(s) within an event.
FEATURE CHANGES & UPDATES
Warning error message displayed when trying to set category status and auto-close date is set
We will now display a warning message when trying to update category status from closed and the category has a ‘auto close category on’ date that has passed.
Corral actions have been grouped into an “Actions” menu to improve the UI
We have Grouped/Moved the Import and Delete buttons in Corral admin to Actions dropdown to save space.
We will now display a preview of fonts available for use in the font selector
We will now be displaying a preview of the font selected to use within the Event Marketing Sites and Tenant Widgets within the font selector. TO do this, it does not limit the fonts to use to the 30 most commonly used google fonts.
Onsite scan station now supports pickup for “all” registration types in a single event
Allow support for “All” registration types (Volunteer, Participant, Ticket and Membership) in scan station to be set. When setting permission for a scan station role a registrant type of “all” will be present, in addition to just the other traditional options. Note, this does not apply to the local server or to mobile check-in at this time.
Optimized Photo Notification Email Deliverance
We have optimized the Photos Tagged Email Campaign to no longer use the notification type of “AUDIT” or “MANUAL” to determine whether a photo email will be sent. In addition, we have capped the number of emails someone can receive for an event to 5, which means after the first initial email, only if their bib is found and tagged found in separate hourly uploads exceeding 4 individual hours, would they be excluded from receiving any further emails.
Photo Notification Preview Email Images will now indicate “Sample”
We will now by default on the photo preview email that an admin can trigger to send, display 3 sample images with the word “SAMPLE” to avoid confusion. This is used when previewing the email campaign or sending a preview email, and will not be present on actual email sends.
Additional Shipping Method is now offered for selection
We have added support for Adult Signature via FedEx Shipping options
Statement dashboards can now search by statement ID
We have optimized the registrant list for a user to clarify registrants that are theirs, registrants shared with them and registrants they have shared. These will now display in 3 distinct sections on the user’s registrants page. This is also available to the admin experience of viewing registrants for a user as well.
BUG FIXES
Registrant with membership unable to change from a category not requiring membership to one that requires membership
Resolve Issue where user with membership is unable to change category into one with membership
Onsite scan station or kiosk user unable to be added from tenant level
Resolve bug where scan station or kiosk user role is not able to be added at tenant level an error is received that it cannot be created
Admin unable to remove product from a registration that had a price withotu providing a refund
Resolve an issue where an Admin User was unable to remove a product from a registration that was for a $0 refund, when the product had a price.
Push to ChronoTrack mapping of gender
Resolve Value Mapping in Push to ChronoTrack feature not using not using registrations.sex and only registrants.gender
Team Registration List Reports were duplicating team member names and counts for some.
Resolved an issue where the report is duplicating team member count and names for some teams
Volunteer unable to select “I’m the Registrant” in registration path
Resolve Volunteer Registration Unable to select “I’m the registrant” when creating a user account from the volunteer registration path
Volunteer Registration Notification Email to admin had an error 500 when clicking on “View Registration”
Resolve Issue in Volunteer Registration Notification email that had the link missing the base url in the “View Registration” button
