NEW FEATURES

Default Email Templates now available for use

We have added commonly used templates as Default Email Templates to Tenants For use. These will now be available in the Content section of the tenant manager and visiting Email Templates, or is available for use in email campaigns. They are easily able to be duplicated to provide further customization or altered for use once in all events within a tenant. The default email templates added are: Registration Open, Event Week/Pickup Details, Results Email with Link, Runner Tracking Email, Log Virtual Results, Update Required Product

Optimized Phone Number collection fields

We have optimized our phone number collection fields, which brings standardization to and integrated support for international phone numbers and standardization to E.164 and adds support for international numbers. With this implementation, the following now occur:

  • User prompted to select country code, which is displayed with country flag
  • Minimum and Maximum characters are now supported and enforced based on country code
  • Only digits are now supported for validation acceptance
  • Display support for user familiarity is now based on country code (for example USA will included parentheses and dashes in the proper format when input)
  • All phone numbers will be saved in the database with the country code and without any special characters, which standardizes format and readies support for features such as SMS campaigns (e.g. a USA phone number of +1 (555) 914-3456 will be in reports and the database as 15559143456)
  • All existing phone numbers are un-treated, but will prompt the user upon next registration through the validation.

FEATURE CHANGES & UPDATES

Removed labels of “I’m the registrant” and “Family or Friend” on Kiosk Registration

We have removed the toggle element of “I’m the registrant” and “Family or Friend” selector when permission group of “Kiosk” accesses Kiosk registration. This will reduce confusion to the users during this experience. The reason the selector was there was to match the UI of user registration, however since the user logged in is the kiosk, “I’m the registrant” could never be selected. We now will hide that element and display the rest of the kiosk the same, which is a list of existing registrants to select or create a new/

Custom permission roles can now be set for Metrics & Analytics suite

We have updated the Permission Structure for Custom Role to match current feature structure. Previously features were displayed in old groupings and not the current structure of groupings. In addition, this also adds support for metrics & analytics in custom roles based on the metric grouping tab (Registrants (Demographic), Registrations, Financial, Fundraising, Results)

Optimizations to not allow birthdates to be saved that are greater than 120 years old from today.

We have made optimizations to birthdate entries to not allow a birthdate to be saved that is greater than 120 years past from today. There were some situations that allowed this to occur (such as admin registration) and our previous rule had been upgraded from 108 to 120. Imports are not affected. We will allow an import greater than 120 years old, but will display a warning on the import if a registrant is greater than 120 years old.

Users will nwo be able to add a donation from Registrant Review

Users will now be able to add a donation from the review page during registration flow, if they originally did not select one. As part of the review, we will now call out there was no donation, as opposed to not showing anything around donations, which will hopefully prompt users if they forgot to make a donation or erroneously moved forward selecting a $0.00 or “No Thanks” option.

Default Hero image on results & photos now matches event marketing sites hero image

If there is no custom Hub Header Image set within the event, the default image used will now be the default used for event marketing sites. This will keep continuity between the event experience and the default image is specific to the event type.
