Release Notes – 3.20.2024
Following are the release notes for additions, changes and fixes made to our software application releasing between March 6th, 2024 and March 20th, 2024. NEW FEATURES
Corral Instructions are available to be used in email campaigns and displayed to a participant
Added a new field for corrals of “corral instructions”. This will be configured for a corral within the corral settings of the corrals tab in the event manager. When populated, this will display on the /registrations/view/id page within the corral section and also be made available as a merge field in email campaigns using {{corral_instructions}}. This field was intended to be used to provide more details to participants on their corral that can be dynamically loaded and changes with the participant if their corral or event changes. Example uses are: “Enter between 6:30AM-7:45AM from the North on 6th Street between Maple and Vine Avenues
FEATURE CHANGES & UPDATES
USA Triathlon license now available for bundle registrations
We have added support for USA Triathlon (USAT) membership purchase and validation if a category in the bundle requires USAT validation
Sharing of Event Marketing Sites will now utilize Opengraph settings for display
When an event marketing site is shared, we will now use the event Opengraph settings in the preview for when that is shared. This now matches the experience when the registration link is shared. If Opengraph is not entered, then it will default to Event Logo, Meta Description and Event Page Title.
New features added to membership events
We have exposed the following features that were available to non-membership events ot membership events. Those features are the source tracking links, and social media. These features are self contained sub-tabs within the marketing tab.
Video Montage uploads will now be tagged
When a Video is uploaded through the video montage to the media library, we will now add a tag to easily identify and manage videos in the media library. This tag will specify intro, preview and mobile or desktop in addition to video montage.
WYSIWYG editor has been upgraded to the latest plugin version.
We have upgraded to the latest version of our “What You See is What You Get” editor. There are no noticeable functionality changes other than a cleaner UI.
BUG FIXES
Coupons Dashboard Filter by Event
Resolved the Filter by Event selection not working on the Tenants Coupon
Fundraising leaderboard widget link for individual teams.
Resolved an issue where some teams links would attempt to link out to an organization instead. This was commonly seen when an organization and a team shared the same name.
Adding images to Slideshow for fundraising individuals
Resolved an Issue where files added to DropZone are not saving on Fundraising Slideshow by End Users. Loading them through the file selector was not impacted.
Income Summary by Category was not including registrations created by deferrals
Resolved the Income Summary by Category (Dashboard & Report) not including registrations created by deferral in counts of registrations. Revenue listed was not impacted.
Metrics & Analytics – Registrant Demographic Filters
Updates were made to the Metrics & Analytics –> Registrant widgets to for the category filter to include all statuses. This resolved an issue that caused categories to not be listed for selection of the category status was closed or disabled. In addition, we resolved an issue where incomplete registrations were included in some demographic calculations. Now only complete and provisional registration statuses will be used.
Team Registration Lists report now respects team categories for “unfilled” positions
Update Team Registration List By Name and Team Registration List By Category fields of “required positions” to respect team the category is in. This is used if a team has team positions and some positions are indicated as “required” for the team to be complete.
Source Tracking Links for Event Admins are now able to be created as expected
Resolved an issue where an Event Admin permission role is unable to create Source Tracking Link. The Modal window presented displayed nothing
