Release Notes – 3.6.2024

Following are the release notes for additions, changes and fixes made to our software application releasing between February 21st, 2024 and March 6th, 2024. FEATURE CHANGES & UPDATES

Automatic Discounts Admin User Experience Update

Updated the user experience when managing automatic discounts to grey out already selected categories and update the sort order to match the sort order that is set within an event.

Bundles Admin User Experience Update

Updated the user experience when managing bundles to grey out already selected categories and update the sort order to match the sort order that is set within an event.

Custom email list merge fields will now be lower case upon import

When a custom email list is imported with additional fields, the merge fields will be generated as “all lower case” to match the format of all default merge fields. All previous merge fields imported will remain as “all upper case” to prevent issues with already scheduled campaigns.

Optimized Event Creation & Duplication Wizard Experience

Optimized the event creation and duplication wizard workflow to improve the user experience. Changes included:

• Auto populating the event end date with the event start date entered (can be modified still)
• Auto populating the close registration date with the event end date and time entered (can be modified still)
• Updated validation on close registration date time, when the event end time was empty
• Moved event status to page 1, which improves error handling and validation later in the wizard
• Moved all error validation to be with the page the data is entered on vs at the end
• Added validation where if event status is open or private, a registration fee must be selected

Event Manager Dashboard Sort Optimizations

Updated the sort feature used when a filtered is applied. “Upcoming” will now sort from closest event in the future to farthest event. In addition, we now sort events using the event end date, so events that now expand over multiple dates, will be sorted where their event date ends.

Metrics & Analytics manual refresh will now trigger all events in tenant to refresh

When a manual refresh is enabled for an event, we will now automatically queue to refresh all events within the tenant. If an event is currently being updated due to a trigger from another event, a message will indicate that the event is already updating.

Updated User Interface for the “Device Information” widget within the Registration and Event Marketing Sites

We have updated the Device Information widget for Registration and Event Marketing Sites to now display % of Registrations, Conversions, Conversion Rate and Users. Previously was just % of conversion (conversion rate) and users. We also added a tooltip to explain conversion rate further. This should help clarify any confusion for where this was used.

Video Montage now available for all photo events, without requiring a custom uploaded intro

We will now provide default, generic intro videos for use with the video montage tool. Now all events with photos, will be able to take advantage of the video montage. If an event provides their own intro media, that media will be included instead of the default.

BUG FIXES

Admin Manual Registration Bypass Payment

Resolved an issue where “bypass payment” was not presented at the first step of registration creation but was visible if used the back button. The back button did not work as intended. Now, the bypass option is available. When present, this will set the category fee paid to be $0. Any products chosen during registration will still show as a fee. However, an admin will be able to use the “edit fees” button, to discount or lower the price of the product, should they want to supply a paid product, for free on admin manual registration.

Metrics & Analytics Filter by Category is now filtering as expected

Resolve widgets that were filtered by category not actually filtering. This was seen in the New Vs Repeat, Income Summary, Income Summary by Category, Revenue Gain, Average Registrant Amount

Metrics & Analytics Participant Locations Heat Map not displaying properly for all addresses

Update “Participants Location” widget for zipcodes with space and leading zero that was preventing the location from being properly displayed

Resolved Team Captain Corral not displaying for certain teams

Resolved why Team Captain Corral is not displayed in Team Registration List by Category for certain teams
