Release Notes – 2.21.2024
Following are the release notes for additions, changes and fixes made to our software application releasing between February 7th, 2024 and February 21st, 2024. FEATURE CHANGES & UPDATES
Box Office Mode Optimizations to improve attendant usage
Optimized our box office mode, which allows a streamlined registration experience, meant to face an attendant (volunteer, staff, etc) that does not collect registrant information. The optimizations included listing payment options at the top to reduce scrolling, automatically bypassing the registrant selection step, that was not editable and disabled the progress bar at the top, which may have led to unintentional actions or confusion.
Imports with .csv extension are now required to be UTF-8
We will now require all CSV imports to be in UTF-8 format. If they are not, an error will be thrown alerting the user to use a supported file type. This will resolve the issues with import files not being able to be rendered by our reader.
Registration Notification email now includes a count of category and event total
The registration notification email that can be configured to send to email address(es) of the admins choice, now will include a count of the category total of the registration and total registrations of the event. This includes counts for participant + tickets. This email is sent every time there is a completed registration with details on that registration.
Sort order of Transactional Emails will now be alphabetical
With the variety of automatic transactional emails that occur based on certain activities by registrations, we have now sorted this list alphabetically for a more logical reasoning to finding the email an admin is looking to make edits to.
BUG FIXES
Updated label when bundle registration accepted the protection plan
Updated the admin transaction label, shown within the history of the registrations view, of “Invalid Registration Protection Plan”. This was shown for bundles who accepted the plan but was not rendered properly. This will now be displayed as “Accepted Registration Protection Plan”
Editing an Email Template from the tenant templates manager now displays only merge fields of that template type
When an email template is being edited at the tenant template manager via /admin/templates/, we will now ensure we only display merge fields of the email template type as opposed to all merge fields, leading to issues where certain merge fields were not applicable.
