Meet The Team: Ashleigh
Being a timer for an event is an exciting and demanding role that goes beyond simply recording numbers on a stopwatch. It’s about capturing the essence of the race. As a timer, precision becomes paramount. The role demands adaptability, quick thinking, and an unwavering focus, especially when faced with the unexpected challenges that the dynamic environment of an event may present. EnMotive is excited to welcome Ashleigh; an integral part of the EnMotive Michigan racing community. Her dedication, expertise, and passion contributes significantly to the success of every event.
In addition to being the newest team member of the Michigan Office, she has happily spent a decade married to her incredible husband, Jake and is the proud mother of 4 amazing kids: Gunner (9), Cruz (7), and identical twin girls Sofia and Lucia (3). The family also has two dogs Jack and Lucy, and cat, Luna. Their home is definitely full of love and organized chaos!
Ashleigh is a very health-conscious person, but pizza, coke, salted caramel chocolates, and rice crispy treats are a few of her favorite treats. Having balance is important, both in life and in nutrition.
An accomplishment that Ashley and her husband are proud of, is owning a gym in Flint, MI. Over the past few years, Ashleigh has worn all of the hats from cleaning, daily operations, creating community partnerships, and more. Over the past year, with a solid team of coaches and support staff, Ashleigh has been able to step away from the day-to-day operations, and focus on her next chapter at EnMotive
When she has a few minutes to herself, she thoroughly enjoys reading and taking classes. Aside from spending time with her husband and watching her kids grow, her favorite hobbies are running and weightlifting. Ashleigh also enjoys “playing gymnastics” with her girls, going on family bike rides, playing soccer with her boys, and family vacations.
The role of both a timer and a mom demands adaptability, quick thinking, and unwavering focus, especially when faced with the unexpected challenges. But the satisfaction of contributing to the success of a vibrant, energetic community and family makes being a race timer and a mom an incredibly rewarding and unforgettable.
