Today, we’re putting the spotlight on Charles, a dedicated and passionate race timer whose work has made him an indispensable part of the racing community and the EnMotive Team.

Charles journey doesn’t stop at timing, he is also a Personal Trainer and enjoys all things fitness. He loves sports and the outdoors and is an avid fisherman and hunter.

When Charles is not timing he stays busy with his son Malachi and his rescue dog Eevee. Eevee is half German Shepherd and half Australian Shepherd.

On the list of things that Charles would like to do is travel the United States and the World. Since his favorite foods are Mediterranean and Italian, maybe Greece and Italy should make it to the top of his list.

Over the years, Charles has formed strong bonds with the racing community. He has become a trusted figure in the local Michigan racing scene, collaborating with race organizers to improve timing procedures and ensure the best experience for participants. His favorite events are the AuSable Canoe Marathon in Frankfort, MI, Ironman, and the M22 Challenge.

Charles used to work for the Detroit Red Wings and Pistons as an Event Operations Coordinator and has worked many exhibition games, concerts and tournaments like the Great Lakes Invitational and March Madness! It’s clear that sports and events is in his DNA.
