Release Notes – 7.14.2023

Following are the release notes for additions, changes and fixes made to our software application releasing between June 28th, 2023 and July 14th, 2023. NEW FEATURES

View & Manage Unsubscribes at the Tenant & Event Series Level

Administrators will now be able to view and manage their unsubscribes at the tenant and event level. Support has already existed to allow users to unsubscribe at these different levels, we will now allow a user to add, remove or view those unsubscribed at these levels. This adds to our already included support for managing unsubscribes at the event campaign level. This feature is accessed in the tenant menu -> content -> email unsubscribes.

Results Correction Request form has been overhauled for collection & management

A complete overhaul of the existing results correction request form happened in order to provide support for enhanced information collection and allow an admin to be notified of a correction request and able to respond to corrections request from the corrections dashboard. to optimize the current. The form is accessible by users at “/corrections/request” (e.g. https://tenant.enmotive.com/corrections/request/) and an event will be displayed if results corrections are enabled for that event. When enabled, the user will now be asked what type of request they have, which will determine a list of questions to ask for collection. When submitted, an admin can now enter, per event, email addresses(s) to receive a notification when a form is submitted, which will include the form information submitted. Once the request has been fulfilled the admin can link back to their dashboard to mark the issue as resolved. When resolving, admins now have the option to send en email to the participant, saving time from having to use personal emails or interface with an additional software application.

FEATURE CHANGES & UPDATES

Mobile check-in V1.0.19 updates

The mobile check-in app was updated to allow support for: auto check-in of registrations on camera scan and for gated check-in, which restricts registrations from checking in if their category within an event is ineligible (multi-day event, wrong entry location)

Registrations not eligible for checkin will now be suppressed on Check-In Carousel

The check-in code carousel, available as a link on all order confirmations, which contains a link to view all tickets or registrations for a user, for an event, will now suppress any categories that have “Show Confirmation Email Pickup Instructions” disabled.

Category auto-close date will now be set to empty on event duplication

After requests, the newly added auto-close category on date will now be reset to empty on event duplication.

All text fields will now be trimmed upon save to optimize data entry

All standard text fields will now be trimmed upon save. What this means is if there are any leading or trailing spaces at the beginning or end of the string, they will be automatically removed. Examples of text entry fields for a user include First Name, Last Name, Address, Emergency Contact, Custom Questions and any field that allows a user to input a custom string.

Updates to data layers for Google Analytics 4 integration for `add_to_cart` and `purchase`

Both of these data layer responses were updated to: add “price” within the item; always include “quantity” within the item, event when it is “1”; updated the format of “price”, “value” and “discount” to always include 2 decimal places. Additionally the `purchase` layer had “transaction_id” added, and we updated the name of “coupon” within the item to “item_coupon”.

Metrics & Analytics – Results Category Mapping now triggers a refresh

Upon saving a results category mapping in the metrics & analytics interface, we will now automatically trigger a metrics refresh, to match an administrators expectations.

Added timezone designation next to order completion time for admin

The timezone designation was added next to the date and time on “/admin/users/view/id/orders” for clarification.

Push to ChronoTrack auto-run scheduled optimized

Optimized the Push to ChronoTrack auto-run scheduler to allow a user to define an end date and time for the push as well as to configure the frequency, with a minimum duration of 5 minutes.

Registrations View (Admin) order history timestamp update

Updated the date and time displayed on the order history inside of a registration view for an admin to use the completed time stamp for the order instead of the created

Referral Report now includes all registration statuses

Updated the report to include statuses referrals that were completed, but now are in a registration status of canceled, transferred and deferred for display within the report.

BUG FIXES

Bundle configuration category adding or editing

Resolved an issue where when an admin was editing or adding categories to the bundle, they may have experienced some categories not available for selection in the bundle, and potentially categories being reset. This was a display issue and there are no issues present with the bundle if the admin did not save the bundle in this state.

Family Members in family membership had different expiration dates

Resolved an issue where Family Members on Family Membership had different expiration date where they should have been consistent on the same day. It was using when they were added to the family and assigned the membership, instead of when the family membership was purchased or renewed.

Membership dashboard filter now is independent of Events dashboard filter

Resolved Membership Events Dashboard Impacted by Events Filter. They now will work

independently

Double label print issue when “allow manual entry” was enabled and a barcode scanner was utilized

Resolved an issue causing a double label print, if “Allow Manual Entry” for a bib number was enabled and the user was scanning bibs for assignment. This caused the request to be submitted twice, once by the scan and once where the scan input the bib into the manual entry field and submitted, which triggered two labels to print.

Kiosk 404 error if user changed category on kiosk before checking out

Resolved an issue on Kiosk Registration where a user would receive an Error 404 when trying to change category during the registration flow

Kiosk registrations with no products or question enabled and waivers enabled received 404

Resolved an issue where registrations would not be able to checkout if the event doesn’t have products / questions, but had waiver enabled. The waivers step was not displaying and validation was preventing the user from checking out, without acknowledging the waiver.

Product Inventory Grid display on mobile for an admin

Resolved an issue with the display of product inventory on mobile that would not allow some devices and browsers to render the modal windows properly, causing users to not be able to interact with the inventory grid.

Promo Content being submitted with Smart (curling Quotes) led to content not being saved

Resolved an issue within our promo content sections using our WYSIWYG editor that when a Smart quotes (Curling Quotes) was used, upon saving, it would not be accepted and clear out the field. We have added support for these characters with PHP. This was most commonly seen with Confirmation Promo and Volunteer Event Day Instructions.

Private categories for volunteer registration appeared unavailable

Resolved an issue where Private Categories for Volunteer Registration were showing as unavailable when using the private key method.

Full categories showed as available to register for volunteer

Resolve an issue where Volunteer Categories that were full (where the limit is met or exceeded) still shows as able to select to register for. The user proceeded to be stopped and received a 404 error after the waiver acknowledgement step.
